Adding some personal value...

I made a pair of earrings out of the 'eyes' of old hook & eye closures. Pretty simple, but pretty pretty also! By the way, the brown stones are just made in plastic china ;-)
Some individuals might not know what hook & eye closures are. This picture might help:
I also enjoyed myself embellishing some thriftshop - bought bangles.
The first one is made with vintage fabric and lots of glue (which had to dry for three days.) The inside is just a piece cut out a disposable cleaning cloth. I found out this works as easy as felt.

The second one was even easier... Just take some old lace and start wrapping it around your bracelet. Then wind some sewing thread around it and make it hold with some stitches on the inside.
